York Academy’s progressive performing and visual arts programs cultivate creativity and self-expression. Our innovative Design Technology coursework is unique to the International Baccalaureate curriculum and focuses on holistic problem solving using the design cycle. At the York Academy, students have access to incredible learning experiences that are unmatched locally.

We're proud that our Lower School (K-6) is ranked as one of the top five charter elementary schools in PA by U.S. News & World Report. In addition, 100% of the graduates in our first two classes (2022 & 2023) are continuing their education! One of them was a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, an impressive achievement. She received a full scholarship and studies engineering at Vanderbilt College. Graduates currently (or will) attend Haverford College, Worcester Polytechnical Institute, Allegheny College, Temple University, Bridgewater College, Florida Memorial University (basketball scholarship) and more. Their majors range from pre-med, engineering and biology to animation, music technology and neuroscience.

Our graduates are succeeding because of their hard work, the advantages of the IB curriculum, and the support of their teachers and families. They are resilient and self-confident, prepared for incredible futures!
