Dr. Michael Lowe has been part of the York Academy family for over seven years in various positions, including Acting CEO. His strong leadership credentials in administration and school leadership, both in and out of the York area. make him a perfect fit at the York Academy.

Outside of school, Dr. Lowe is active in the York community. He has served on several boards and held leadership positions with the Boy Scouts, York Extension Services, the Council of Churches and the York County Community Foundation. Dr. Lowe also enjoys volunteering at WellSpan York Hospital and at his church.

Dr. Lowe is passionate about serving the students,  parents and employees. "It brings me great joy to work with the Board of Trustees to move forward the mission and vision of our school system," he said.
