The York Academy PTO is a parent-led organization that partners closely with school staff to strengthen our school community. All parents and guardians are encouraged to join or attend meetings throughout the year—everyone is welcome.

Through their dedication and support, the PTO helps fund field trips, family fun nights, school assemblies, classroom supplies, and much more.

The York Academy PTO’s mission is to:

  • Promote the well-being of all children in our schools and community.
  • Foster strong partnerships between parents, guardians, and teachers to support student success.
  • Enhance opportunities for every child’s physical, academic, and social development.
  • Build a connected, engaged school community that helps students thrive.

PTO Dress Down Days are held on the first Friday of each month. With a $1.00 donation, students and staff may wear the (school appropriate)
attire of their choosing. Click here to view the Dress Code (see page 2). All proceeds will fund family fun nights, classroom supplies, teacher
appreciation activities, and more.

The PTO works tirelessly to support our school community by bringing families together and celebrating our incredible staff.

  • Trunk or Treat

  • Events at Keystone Kidspace, Chuck E. Cheese, Panera & Roll 'R' Way

  • Lunch for our employees during Student-Led Conferences

  • The Uniform Swap for parents

  • A virtual Food Drive to support the York County Food Bank

  • York Academy Night with the Revolution

  • Field Day t-shirts for all students and staff (Upper School and Lower School)

  • Knights for Pints Parents Social

  • Various kind gestures and small gifts of appreciation for teachers and staff throughout the year and during Teacher Appreciation Week
