Student-Led Conferences

Student-Led Conferences are a highlight of the year at both the Lower School and Upper School! Held twice each school year, these special days give you the floor to lead the conversation about your education. Rather than listening to adults talk about your progress, you sit down with your family to reflect on how far you’ve come, celebrate your biggest wins, and map out your goals for what's next.

Taking the lead in these conferences helps you build essential life skills such as clear communication, honest self-reflection, personal responsibility, and real confidence. At the same time, your family gets a front-row seat to your daily school experience, seeing your hard work through your eyes.

How Conferences Reflect Our IB Values

As an IB World School, we believe in student agency, giving you ownership over your learning path. Whether you are a Lower School student sharing your first portfolio or an Upper School student evaluating your academic progress, Student-Led Conferences empower you to:

  • Be a Reflective Thinker: Look honestly at your strengths, celebrate your growth, and identify areas where you can stretch yourself further.
  • Practice Effective Communication: Explain your learning process, present your work with pride, and articulate your future goals clearly to those who support you most.
  • Own Your Journey: Take pride in your accomplishments and step actively into your role as a lifelong learner ready to succeed.
