Kindergarten is an important first step in your child’s academic journey, and building strong foundational skills early makes a
meaningful difference. With your support at home, your child can begin developing the confidence, independence, and readiness
needed to be successful not only in Kindergarten, but throughout their time at York Academy.

your kindergartner. These resources are designed to make learning fun while helping your child build essential early math and literacy
skills.

We also invite you to attend our Kindergarten Readiness Workshop on May 6, 2026, where we will walk you through how to use the
materials you received at registration and share simple, effective ways to support your child at home.
