Grade 9 (Freshman Year) – Spring Semester

- Discuss strategies for academic
success and getting back on track if needed
- Plan and select courses for
sophomore year

Grade 10
Grade 10 (Sophomore Year)
Semester 2 – College & Career Exploration
Advisor: Mr. O
- Explore postsecondary pathways:
- 2-year colleges
- 4-year colleges/universities
- Trade/vocational programs
- Military options
- Direct entry into the workforce
- Begin aligning interests with potential career paths
Spring – IB Diploma Programme (DP) Planning
Advisor: Mrs. Riggs (IB DP Coordinator)
- Overview of IB Diploma Programme options:
- Full DP
- Partial DP
- Non-testing pathway
- Select potential Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL) IB courses for Grades 11–12
- Review graduation requirements, including:
- Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
- Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)
- Extended Essay (EE)
- Community service expectations
Grade 11 (Junior Year) – Full Year (Semesters 1 & 2)

- Refine college and career goals
- Complete career and interest surveys to guide postsecondary planning
- Discuss application pathways and next steps for senior year
