College Tour

The York Academy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 2011 to support the health, welfare and educational interests of the York Academy Regional Charter School.

To date, gifts have provided educational opportunities for students, and helped the Lower School Simpson Station Playground and the York Academy Upper School come to fruition.

Currently, the Foundation is focused on building the funds necessary to implement York Academy Scholarship+. This college readiness program will provide Upper School students with the important essentials they will need to be academically, emotionally and practically prepared for post-secondary education and beyond. There are a variety of ways to contribute to the Foundation including personal gifts, corporate donations, matching funds and stock transfers. The York Academy Foundation also participates in Give Local York each May. In addition, the York Academy Foundation is also an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) via Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. Thanks to the support of our local business community, York Academy has been able to implement many innovative programs for our students through EITC contributions.

How can you help? A donation of any size will impact students and allow the York Academy Foundation to provide additional opportunities now and in the future.
